Adopt a German Shepherd Dog (medium coat)

German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) Dog

Stella-Not at the Shelter the Dog needs a home

Stella!  Beautiful Stella is looking for a forever home where she can be admired and loved daily, allowed to walk at her own pace, be treated with extra kindness and lots of joint supplements to help her get through her hip problems, and be treated like the queen she is!

Stella is fine with children, but because of her untreated hip dysplasia, younger children that might fall on her might not be a good match. We are seeking an adopter who truly adores seniors and will be able to spend time and resources in making Stella comfortable.

She is six to seven years old, spayed, and housetrained. She does well with other dogs, and wants to play, but her hips hurt if she does too much. She does a lovely "sit," followed by "shake." She is protective of her family when she needs to be, and shows the wonderful attentiveness that we love to see in any rescue dog.

We will not consider any homes where there is invisible fencing, or where she would be kept outside. To adopt, we ask that you begin with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Stella is NOT at the shelter, and will remain in her current location until we find placement.
